Religion Digest: Speaker to talk about freedom of mind, body and soul

Sheri Rose Shepherd will be the featured speaker from 9 a.m. to noon during a Spiritual Seekers Conference on Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, 1501 Sycamore St..

Shepherd, who speaks to more than 30,000 women a year and has had her life story featured on Lifetime Television for Women, will cover freedom of the mind, body and soul and having an eternal view on life.

Recording artist Rhonda Funk will contribute to the conference with musical worship.

The event is free.
