Non-profit fair planned at CCC

A non-profit agency fair will be held from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at Clovis Community College, according to a press release from the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce.

In its third year, the fair offers attendees information on agencies and a variety of volunteer opportunities, the release said.

Some of the groups expected to attend are the United Way of Eastern New Mexico, the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico, Christian Believers Education, Career Services, Community Employment Program, Clovis High Plains Rotary, New Mexico Work Force One Stop, Curry County Literacy Council, Youth Opportunity Center and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners.

The 2007 Leadership Clovis and Youth Leadership Class is also expected to be in attendance as part of its study on heath and social services this month.
