The New Mexico State University Agricultural Science Center at Clovis is planning a crop root demonstration Wednesday.
“Most folks are familiar with the above-ground portion of plants,” extension agronomist Mark Marsalis said in a release, “but have little knowledge of what is happening below ground.”
The demonstration of root systems is scheduled for 8-9:30 a.m. at the center, located 13 miles north of Clovis of N.M. 288.
