Bucky Strickland, Angelo State, Sr. C/DH, Dalton, Ga. — Strickland went 7-for-9 in a four-game sweep of Southwestern Oklahoma, with two doubles, a home run, seven RBIs and two runs scored.

ENMU nominee

Jonathon Marbury, Jr. RF — Marbury went 5-for-10 with two triples and a home run in a four-game weekend series against Central Oklahoma.

Pitcher

Trey Watten, Abilene Christian, So. RHP, Coppell, Texas — Watten improved to 4-0 with a strong six-inning performance on Sunday against Cameron, allowing only an unearned run on four hits with eight strikeouts. He also went 6-for-15 at the plate for the week, with a triple, a home run, five runs and five RBIs.

ENMU nominee

Jeff Roemer, Sr. RHP — Roemer threw four shutout innings over two games in relief against Central Oklahoma, allowing one hit with one walk and two strikeouts.

Sally Lozano, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Sr. OF, El Paso — Lozana went 7-for-12 in a four-game sweep of Texas Woman’s, extending her hitting streak to eight games. She scored two runs, drove in three and stole two bases.

Macy Baker, Angelo State, So. SS, Crowley, Texas — Baker had nine hits in 13 at-bats to help the Rambelles take three of four from Abilene Christian. She had two doubles, a homer, eight RBIs and five runs scored, going 4-for-4 in Friday’s series opener and 3-for-3 in Saturday’s finale.

ENMU nominee

Kristen Cruickshank, Fr. 1B/P — Kruickshank went 5-for-8 in a doubleheader sweep at College of the Southwest, hitting three doubles and a home run and delivering a tie-breaking RBI single in the 10th inning in an 8-5 second-game win. She also pitched a complete gamee in that contest, allowing four earned runs with three walks and three strikeouts.

Pitcher

Sarah Vidalin, Abilene Christian, Sr. RHP, Victoria, B.C. — Vadalin threw a complete-game eight-hitter to beat No. 3-ranked Angelo State 2-1 on Saturday, walking one and striking out seven. After giving up a run in the first inning, she didn’t permit a runner past second base.

ENMU nominee

Nicole Dickson, Jr. P — Dickson pitched five strong innings in a 9-2 win over College of the Southwest, allowing three hits and one earned run. She improved to 10-3 with a 3.90 earned run average for the season.
