Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
Cody Thornsbury is a senior at Clovis High School. He is the son of Ed and Karen Thornsbury.
Who is your favorite entertainer? Will Ferrell, because he is great in all of his movies.
What’s so great about your favorite sport? I love basketball because it is fun, exciting, and you never know what is going to happen next. It is a sport that takes a lot of practice and dedication, which makes you feel good when your hard work pays off and your team wins.
Tell us about your greatest individual accomplishment: This would have to be when we (Clovis Wildcats) played Carlsbad at home last year and I went 10 for 10 from field, which included 5-for-5 from 3-point range.
If I could do anything, I would... Help the Clovis Wildcats beat the Hobbs Eagles, win district and take the state championship in basketball. It’s been a dream of mine for a long time.
What is your favorite quotation? “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.”
