Cain-Harvey

Ricky and Sherry Cain announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Tasha Cain, to David Harvey, son of Joe and Kathy Harvey, all of Clovis.

The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. on July 28 at the bride’s home. The reception will follow the ceremony.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Texico High School. She is employed at Snyders Cleaners.

The prospective groom is employed at Zia Power Sports.

The ceremony is open to friends and relatives.

Hall-Chalker

Dennis and Marge Chalker of Clovis announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Nicolas (Nick) Chalker, of Clovis to Shawna Hall of Texico. She is the daughter of Brenda Hall of Texico and the late Robert Hall Sr.

The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Sunken Garden in Hillcrest Park. The reception location will be announced at the wedding.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Texico High School. She is employed at Landmark Title.

The prospective groom is a 1997 Clovis High School graduate. He is employed at the Copier Supply Co.

Lee-Dendy

Jack and Vici Dendy of Clovis announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Chris Dendy, to Kathie Lee, both of Louisville, Ky. She is the daughter of Joe and Betty Lee of Bowling Green, Ky.

The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on July 22 at Rich Pond Baptist Church in Bowling Green. The reception will follow the ceremony in the reception hall.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. She is employed at Starbucks and attends Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Texas Tech University. He is employed at J. Alexanders in Louisville.

Gaddie-Griffiths

Kyle Griffiths of Logan and Kristen Gaddie of Derby, Kan., will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasantview Baptist Church in Derby. Their parents are John and Janet Griffiths of Logan and George and Denise Gaddi of Derby.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and holds a degree in elementary education.

A 2005 graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, the groom-elect is a graduate student at Oklahoma State University.

Fogerson-Bomar

Loretta Fogerson of Clovis and Dewey Fogerson of Knoxville, Tenn., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amanda Mae Fogerson, of Clovis to Timothy Neil Bomar of House. He is the son of the late Dick and Iona Bomar, formerly of House.

The couple will exchange vows on July 30 at the Sunken Garden. The reception will follow the ceremony.

Thron-Vaughan

Perry and Barbie Thron announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Tatum Thron, to Kody Vaughan, all of Portales. He is the son of Terry and Judy Reid of Clovis.

The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. on July 22 at Faith Family Christian Church in Clovis. The reception will be at the Clovis Civic Center.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Portales High School and is studying for a degree in dental hygiene at Eastern New Mexico University.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Texico High School. He is employed at Roosevelt County Electric.
