Britten Ray Webb, 77, of Emmett, Idaho, and formerly of Portales, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Emmett, Idaho.
He was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Portales, where he lived until joining the Air Force in 1949. He married Joan Woods on July 2, 1950, in Kansas City, Mo.
Family members said he loved his family, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Essie Swopes; stepfather, Walter Swopes; father, Thomas Webb; brothers, Roy Webb and Dan Swopes; son, Michael Webb, and grandson, Todd Webb.
Survivors include his wife of Emmett; two sons, Rocky Webb of Boise, Idaho, and Bryant Webb of Emmett; and two daughters, Karon Webb of Boise and Brandy Hagler of Emmett; eight grandsons, Brandon Webb of Nampa, Idaho, Nathaniel Linville of Federal Way, Wash., and Terris Webb, Bryce Crosby, Logan Webb, and Jakob, Joshua and Jayven Armijo-Hagler, all of Emmett; and five granddaughters, Alaina Whitman of San Jose, Calif., Terah Kofahl of Madras, Ore., Gwen Daniels of Nampa, Meranda Webb of Cortez, Colo., and Piper Webb of Emmett; a sister, Lavon Elrod of Portales; two brothers, Wayman Swopes of Midland, Texas, and Truitt Swopes of Austin, Texas; six great-grandsons, William Webb of Nampa, and Sevryn and Therion Webb, Brinkley Crosby, Britten DeWayne and Carter Webb, all of Emmett; and three great-granddaughters, Jordan Matheson of Madras, Kayla Webb-Daniels of Nampa and Taylor Crosby of Emmett.
Arrangements are by the Cremation Society of Idaho.
