Allen, Phyllis

Phyllis Allen, 95, of Amarillo, and formerly of Clovis and Lesbia, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at Jane Bivins Home in Amarillo.

Born Nov. 9, 1910, in Bellview to John and Agnes Phillips, she worked as a nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse F. Allen.

Survivors include two sisters, Willie Ann Jones (and husband, Everett) and Leatha J. London, all of Amarillo; and two nephews.

A viewing will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (CDT) today at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo.

Bivins Home Chaplain Jeff Messer is officiating.
