Stuart and Tresa Pond of Grady announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Taris Pond, of Clovis to Taylor Smith of Clovis. He is the son of Guy Smith of Colorado and Julie Abernathy of Clovis.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on June 3 at Kingswood Methodist Church, and a reception will follow the ceremony.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Grady High School. She attends Eastern New Mexico University in Roswell.
The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Clovis High School. He is employed at Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.
