Frances (Carroll) Hopper of Clovis will celebrate her 90th birthday from 2 p.m. to 5p.m. on Saturday at Courthouse Annex in Fort Sumner.

The celebration will be hosted by her children, Carlene McLain, Joyce Neagle, Carroll Hopper, Wynell Richards, Phyllis Dobbins, and stepdaughters, Imogene Cheyne and Edna McIntire.

Born May 17, 1916, south of Taiban, she has seven children, 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchilden and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

The celebration is open to friends and relatives.

Harvey

Clara Lee Harvey of Texico celebrated her 80th birthday on May 5 at her home. Family and friends hosted the celebration.

Born May 5, 1926, in Temple, Okla., she has one daughter, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Burford

Geraldine “Jerry” Donahey Burford of Pleasant Hill will celebrate her 85th birthday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Pleasant Hill Fire Station.

The celebration will be hosted by James Burford, her son; Kathleen Reese, Patricia Pugh and Nancy Maxie.

Born on May 3, 1921, in Pleasant Hill, she has one son, James Burford, and two grandchildren, Ross Burford and Lindsey Burford.

The celebration is open to friends and relatives.
