Elias and Emma Salazar of Clovis celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on May 3 at their home.

They were married May 3, 1951, in Clovis.

They have eight children, 24 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The couple are retired.
