F. D. Rogers, 90 of Clovis died Friday, April 21, 2006, at his home.
Born Oct. 14, 1915, to William J. and Myrtie C. Hogg Rogers in Comanche, Texas, he married Eva C. Stowe on June 5, 1937, in Clovis. He was a public school teacher for 25 years, and a farmer, dairyman and rancher. He was a member of Sandia Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of the home; three daughters, Clardine (and husband, Raymond) Goff of Albuquerque; Sylvia Yarbrough of Midland, Texas, and Rosa Preston of Cleburne, Texas; brother, Lynn T. Rogers of Riverside, Calif.; sister, Dell Stroud of Carlsbad; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
The Rev. Fred Caton will officiate services. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories.
Pallbearers will be great-grandsons Brand, Tyler and Chance Fraze, Garrett Goff, Jordan Wilson, Bobby and Adam Vinson, Brantley and Kirby Wheeler, and Justin Burrus.
