Greene, Laura

Laura E. Greene, 51, of Muleshoe, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2006 at her home. She was born May 18, 1954, in Albuquerque. She married Charles Greene in Oklahoma City on Jan. 3, 1977. In 2000 they moved to Bovina. She worked in the family business, Master Trim, for many years. She also worked in the Regional Building Group of the Jehovah’s Witnesses as a cook.

Family members said she loved people and her granddaughters were the light in her life.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Mathew Greene of Oklahoma City; her mother, Geraldine Edmonds of Muleshoe; a sister, S.K. “Sam” Edmonds of Muleshoe; a brother Kenneth Edmonds of Wisconsin and two granddaughters, Rachel and Alliva.

Dick Demaray and Virgil Lowery will officiate services.

The family suggests memorials be made to Texas RBC No. 2, Route 2 Box 44C, Lovington, NM 88260
