Smith, Alton “Al”

Mr. Alton “Al” Price Smith of Clovis died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, in Lubbock.

Mr. Smith retired from the Air Force after 20 years and was also a retired truck driver. He was a life member of VFW Post 3015 and also was a MOC member of AHO 5.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Smith; mother, Kathryn; stepmother, Marjorie, and sister, Kathleen Jordan.

He is survived by his wife Ursula Smith of the home in Clovis; three children, Kathy Jessee (and husband Stan) of Somerset, Ky., Walter Smith (Michelle) of Richmond, Va., and Alton Pete Smith of Clovis; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Shelby Smith (Debbie) of Dallas, and Arthur Smith (Dorothy) of St. Louis.

Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis.
