Winemiller, Wilbur

Wilbur J. Winemiller, 85, of Clovis, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at his daughter’s home in Albuquerque.

He was born on June 21, 1920, to John Jacob and Edna Ansteatt Winemiller in Ohio. He married Mae Trivett on Aug. 10, 1944, in Cincinnati.

Mr. Winemiller worked as a tool and dye maker for ACF&GE in Albuquerque before retiring in 1983. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Texico, Clovis Antique Dealers Association, and Albuquerque Antique Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife; two brothers, Charles and Marvin Winemiller; and a sister, Elta Martin.

He is survived by two sons, John C. Winemiller of Albuquerque, and Richard Thomas (and wife, Cathi) Winemiller of Portland; two daughters, Sandra L. (Bill) Gray of Albuquerque, and Judy (Glenn) Holmes of Florida; 11 grandchildren, Verla Mae Winemiller, Wilbur Gene Winemiller and Robert Thomas Winemiller of Albuquerque, Jacob Todd (Sharla) Gray and Cori Elizabeth (Shane) Kyle of San Antonio, Texas, Dennis John (Lynett) Derouin of Florida, Thomas (Kristi) Derouin of Albuquerque, Jenny Winemiller, Josh Baird and Jacob Baird of Portland, and John Winemiller of Austin, Texas; eight great-grandchildren, Grayson William Kyle of San Antonio, Texas, Chase Derouin, Zachary Derouin and Beth Derouin of Florida, Kody Derouin and Reagan Derouin of Albuquerque, Cade Hole and Cody Hole of Portland; and a sister, Dorothy Kresge (Jim) of Pittsfield, Mass.

Burial will follow services at Sandia Memory Gardens in Albuquerque. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Clovis.

Pallbearers are Tom Dobson, Royce Lackey, Lonnie Ross, Lynn Meader, and Alan Hamilton.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Texico, 224 N. Turner Street in Texico.
