Longley, Harold

Harold Longley, 67, of Clovis died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Claude, Texas, to Jay Allen and Mary Alice Loving Longley.

He married Wilma Jean Wilkerson on June 28, 1958, in Tucumcari. He was a self-employed truck driver and member of the Apostolic Truth Church in Texico. He loved the outdoors and camping, family members said.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers-in-law, Jim Griffin, Jerry White and Fitch Couvillon.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Debbie Garcia of Farwell; two grandchildren, Branda (J.B.) Gonzales of Clovis and Megan Garcia of Farwell; two great-grandchildren, Jolene and Adreeanna Garcia of Clovis; seven sisters, Faunette Griffin, Zell Couvillon, Jo Juan White, Nancy Harper, Monette Nelson and Florene Ellis, all of Clovis, and Nita Faye Hodges of Bloomfield; and two brothers, Jay Longley of Clovis and Larn Longley of Melrose.

Pastor Mick Mounce will officiate services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Allen Cupp, Rafael Vidal, J.B. Gonzales, Lance and Jay Longley and Blain Cox.
