Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
At 7:45 a.m. Friday, police responded to the 700 block of Weatherford Street in reference to a stolen gun. The resident told police a homeless acquaintance was living with him and took the 40-caliber, semi-automatic pistol sometime on Thursday.

At 9:30 a.m. Friday, police responded to the 500 block of Sheldon Street in reference to stolen home goods valued at $15. The resident told police his neighbor came to his home to do a repair and took the items.

At 9 p.m. Friday, police arrested a 25-year-old man in the 800 block of Grand Avenue for driving under the influence of alcohol. Police were called to the area in reference to a domestic dispute between the man and his girlfriend when they located him in his truck outside the residence.

At 11:30 p.m. Friday, police responded to a bar in the 700 block of Prince Street in reference to an unruly patron. Police arrested a 21-year-old man for returning to the bar after bouncers told him to leave. He was charged with trespassing and possession of marijuana, which was found by an official at the Curry County Adult Detention Center.

At 11:30 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a domestic dispute on the 1100 block of Sycamore Street. The female resident told police she and her boyfriend had gotten into a yelling match because he had viewed Internet porn.

At midnight Saturday, police cited a 40-year-old man in an alley of the 1500 block of Fifteenth Street for indecent exposure. Police found the man urinating next to a fence and trash receptacle.

At 3:30 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 2300 block of Axtell Street in reference to criminal damage to a garage door. The resident told police that she believed her former boyfriend broke the door after an argument they had that night at a local restaurant.
