Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

At 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, police pulled over a vehicle on Fifth and Prince streets for a broken license plate light and found the 25-year-old driver in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. The driver was cited, arrested and released, the report said.

At 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a residence on the 800 block of West Street, in reference to a burglary. The 27-year-old resident said someone stole more than $300 worth of electronic equipment from her home. Police haven’t named any suspects, according to the report.

At noon on Tuesday, police responded to a business on the 100 block of Grand Avenue in reference to a theft. Employees told police someone stole a donation receptacle holding about $30 from the store and left in an old cream colored car with two people in it, and at least one man. Police have no other suspect information.

At 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Manana Boulevard and Main Street. A driver told police she stopped at a stop sign before entering Main Street and didn’t see the other vehicle traveling south on Main Street, until they collided. There was severe damage to the front of the 53-year-old woman’s car and she was sighted for not obeying the stop sign, according to the report.
