Kathy Mead of Portales announces the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter, Becky Mead of Hewitt, Texas to Ryan Ruiz, of Hewitt, Texas, son of Nick Ruiz of Portales and Robin Ruiz of Roswell.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m., Dec. 3 at First Baptist Church. The reception will also be at First Baptist Church.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Portales High School.
The prospective groom is 2004 graduate of Floyd Schools. The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.
