Motorcyclist in serious condition

ccident with a street sweeper Thursday afternoon was still in serious condition Friday at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, according to a hospital spokesperson.

James Antill, 41, suffered serious injuries in an accident at the intersection of Wrangler Way and an alley behind Remuda Drive, according to a release from the Clovis Police Department.

The driver of the street sweeper, Frank Lucero, 53, was not injured in the crash, the release said.

There were no charges issued by police after the collision, Clovis Police Lt. James Schoeffel said Thursday.
