Margaret Lindstedt

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Wheeler Mortuary Chapel in Portales.

Mrs. Margaret Lindstedt, 52, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at Laurel Plains Healthcare in Clovis.

She was born Oct. 19, 1952, in McAlester, Okla. to Billie Imogene and Ray Goddard. She grew up in McAlester, Okla. and Portales. She worked as manager for Allsup’s for many years, for College Cleaners and The Blue Gem in Portales and for Riley Switch in Clovis.

She married Albert Lindstedt in Clovis on Oct. , 2000. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the VFW Post 3280.

Family members said she enjoyed cooking, reading, dancing, tanning, gardening and canning.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jo Aliene Goddard; and her mother, Billy King Goddard, who died in 2000.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Lindstedt of Clovis; four daughters, Donna Jacques (and husband, Brian) of Clovis, Brandy Amundson of McAlester, Okla., Shanon Amundson of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Shara Garner of Osage Beach, Mo.; five grandchildren; her father, Ray Goddard of Chandler, Texas; a brother, Gerald Goddard of Portales; and a sister, Billie Knox of Portales.

Kenneth Jacques will officiate the service.

The private burial will be in the Portales Cemetery.
