Macario Gallegos

Macario Gallegos, 80, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at his residence in Clovis after an extended illness.

He was born March 10, 1925, in Genova. He was involved in construction work and worked in masonry. He was a member of the Catholic church. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II.

Survivors include his brother, Frank Gallegos (and wife, Helen) of Clovis; a sister, Corina Armij of Tucumcari; a great-grandson, Hernando Gallegos Jr. (Racahel) of Clovis; eleven grandchildren, Ramona Bradley and Bryant of Clovis, Lisa Hooks and James of Hawaii, Jacob Gallegos and Joshua Gallegos, Theodore Walker, Albel Gallegos, Zachary Bradley, Andre and Erick Hooks; and a great-granddaughter, Courtney Hooks.

Rosary was recited Monday in the San Antonio Catholic Church in Logan.

Rev. Father Leo Padget will officiate services. Burial will take place in the Logan Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Aguilar, Robert Trujillo, Alfonso Gallegos, Sammy Cordova, Ruben Vigil and Rick Stirlen.
