Louise Jane Dibble Parker, 89, of San Jon, died Sunday, May 1, 2005, at the Retirement Ranch in Clovis.

She was born July 19, 1915, in Quay County, to Homer and Lena Dibble.

She was a member of the San Jon Baptist Church. She was the custodian for the First Baptist Church. She graduated from Eastern New Mexico Junior College in Portales in 1936. She was a member of the Republican party. Family members said she enjoyed walking and making bread for anyone and for any occasion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hamilton Parker; three daughters, Glenda Sue and twins, Janie and Jamie; and siblings, Charlie, Junior, Frances, Effie and Mary.

Survivors include three daughters, Billie Louise Parker of Grand Prairie, Texas, Frances “San” Taylor (and husband, Sammy) of San Jon and Lena Lee of Clovis; three sons, James Parker (Susan) of Fort Worth, Texas, John Parker (Connie) of Lovington and Eddie Neal Parker of Amarillo; eight grandchildren, Michele Taylor, Amy, Karen-Marie and Heath Parker, Valerie Key, Michael Coogle and Toby and Hope Parker; two great-grandchildren, Toni and Samantha Taylor; and a brother, Frank Dibble of Albuquerque.

The Rev. Roy Mitchell officiated the services.

Burial was at San Jon Cemetery.
