Polly Green, 82, of Belen, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at her home.

She married Elton Green on Feb. 14, 1937. They farmed and ranched north of Clovis. Family members said she enjoyed gardening and horse races, and was an avid golfer.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Kay Green; and two infant sons.

Survivors include a daughter, Jan Gentry of Belen; four granddaughters, Jamie Provencio of Grady, Kelli Page and Joei Williams, both of Belen, and Lezli Williams of Albuquerque; and six great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grady Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Max Fraze, Danny Henry, Ray Starbuck, Larry and Mike Burnett, and Jim Webb.

Arrangements are by Romero Funeral Home of Belen.
