Mary Lucille Milstead, 85, of Clovis, died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at Laurel Ridge Healthcare in Clovis.
She was born on Dec. 31, 1919, in Rome, Ga., to Homer and Mary Lou Countryman Lee.
She married Alton A. Milstead on July 9, 1950, in Jeffersonville, Ind.
She was the co-owner of Truck Stop Cafe in Texico until she sold it in 1974. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, JoAnn Reid; and two grandsons, Brett Alton Milstead, and Johnny Autrey.
Survivors include a son, Stanley Milstead (and wife, Margie) of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Debra Shober (James) of Clovis; two sisters, Inez Kim of New York and Kathleen Forrester of Georgia; seven grandchildren, Daniel Milstead, Chris and Amy Shober, Wayne Rierson, James Dosher, Lesley Brewer and Shane Burton; and six great grandchildren.
The Rev. Dean Turvaville will officiate the services.
Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
