Keith Terry, 64, of Portales, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at his home.

He was born on Nov. 19, 1940, in Portales, to Musette and Bob Terry.

He married Judy Cummingson on Aug. 27, 1958, in Farwell.

He lived his entire life in and around Portales. He was a 1959 graduate of Portales High School. They farmed for about 12 years before trading their land for the home where they now live in Portales. In 1970 he began buying farm equipment and established a custom harvesting business. In 1984 he bought a rock crusher and added a caliche business. In 1986 he quit the harvesting business, and did the caliche business full time. He retired in 1995. In 1981 he began collecting antique cars to restore and resell. He was a member of the Third and Kilgore Church of Christ, Eastern New Mexico Antique Auto Club and the Sun Country Auto Club.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Karl Terry (and wife, Carol) of Carbondale, Colo.; Jeff Terry (Cindy) of Portales; a daughter, Kathy Mobley (Randy) of Portales; four grandchildren, Ellen and Wade Mobley and Patty and Jessie Terry; his mother; a brother, H.R. Terry (Nona Faye) of Portales; three sisters, Betty Musick (Gordon) of Lubbock, and Mildred Gates (Monroe) and Sharon Grider (Gary), all of Clovis.

David Bennett and Kenneth Broad officiated the services.

Burial was at Portales Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Harold, Mike, Danny and Terry, Stephen Cummings, Mark Robertson, Stan and Kerry Musick, and Randy Wiseman.

Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Antique Car Club and his coffee drinking buddies.

Arrangements were by Wheeler Mortuary of Portales.
