William "Bill" Floyd Dudley, 75, of Clovis, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

He was born on Dec. 30, 1929, in Mangum, Okla., to Floyd and Ruby Laceman Dudley.

He married Dorothy Winkles on Feb. 24, 1949, in Clovis. He was a appliance repairman for Synder Furniture and McDaniel's Furniture for 48 years. He was a member of the Advent Christian Church, the Mens 42 Club of Clovis. He coached baseball. Family members said he loved to fish, hunt, and camping.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Adean Flud, and Cleva Lovett; and a brother F.M. Dudley.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bobby Dudley (and wife, Vickie) and Billy "Dwight" Dudley, all of Clovis; three sisters, Geneva Couch of El Reno, Okla., Florence Fulgham of Lubbock, and Deloras Chitwood of Enterprise, Ala.; two brothers, Foy Dudley and Dusty Dudley, both of Clovis; five grandchildren, Cory, Jason, and Brittney Dudley, all of Clovis, Joe Dudley of Wichita, Kan., and Jeremy Dudley of Toponas, Colo.; seven great-grandchildren.

The Rev. S. Hayden Walsh will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Pallbearers are Brandy, Jason, Jeremy, Brittney, Gretchen, Cory, Joe, and Melody Dudley, and Connie Blevins.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
