Mrs. Mildred Belle Martin, 87, of Clovis, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

She was born on March 25, 1917, in Ardmore, Okla., to Clarence Davenport and Mary Lula Long.

She was a member of the Fairfield Extension Club, the 16th and Pile Ladies Bible Class, a Center 4-H Club leader, and a member of the 16th and Pile Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Wayne Martin; a grandson, Bryce Wade Jones; and four brothers.

Survivors include a son, Henry Wayne Martin Jr. (and wife, Linda) of Clovis; two daughters, Barbara Diann Norris (Bob) and Margaret Jo Jones (Kenneth), all of Clovis; nine grandchildren, Maxwell Wayne Martin, Robert Layne Norris, Chans Alden Martin, Audie Trey Martin, Darren Kenneth Jones, Seth Henry Martin, Lisa Jo McCasland, Marti Diann Mayfield, and Amanda Belle Samora; 25 great-grandchildren; five granddaughters-in-law, Donna Michelle Norris, Cami Leigh Martin, Glynna Charlene Martin, Jill Marie Jones, and Windy Marie Martin; and three grandsons-in-law, Ellis Cooper McCasland, Rick Glen Mayfield, and Cecil Antony Samora.

Jim Gammon will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.

Pallbearers are grandsons, Maxwell Wayne, Chans Alden, Audie Trey, and Seth Henry Martin, Robert Layne Norris, and Darren Kenneth Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are granddaughters, Lisa Jo McCasland, Marti Diann Mayfield, and Amanda Belle Samora.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
