Winona Ethel "Bo Bo" Wheeler, 92, of Clovis, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

She was born on Oct. 13, 1911, in Hitchcock, Okla., to John Gaety and Louise Ethel Maise Fry.

She married Claud Wheeler on April 19, 1929, in Elk City, Okla. She was a cook for the Clovis Municipal Schools where she retired. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Family members said she loved to cook, volunteer at the church and work in the church nursery.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patsy Wheeler; six brothers, Elmo, Glenn, Parm, Dale, D. and Don Fry.

Survivors include two daughters, Dolores Jackson of Redlands, Calif and Phyllis Wright of Clovis; two sons, Terry Wheeler of Phoenix and Jerry Wheeler of Yucaipa, Calif.; a brother, Gilbert Fry of Carlsbad; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Gerald Woods and Vaughn Gossman will officiate the services.

Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.

Pallbearers will be Wilbur Cogdill, James Ferrell, Ken James, Reuben Kelley, Gene Pershall and Terry Poynor.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
