Police Blotter: 9-26-04

Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

Police responded Tuesday to the 400 block of Starlight Drive in reference to a harassment complaint.

The officer responding to the scene met with the male subject, and advised him to stop calling the two women accusing him of harassment. The officer told the subject a previous harassment report had been filed by one of the women.

The subject said the harassment accusations started when he accused one of the women of stealing checks from his residence and cashing them.

He signed an affidavit at his bank to this effect, but decided not to press charges because the dispute was among family, and the money had been repaid.
