Cheryl K. Clark, 51, of North Pole, Alaska, died Friday, July 2, 2004.

She was born on Oct. 22, 1952, in Wadena, Minn., to Andrew and Betty Knight.

Family members said she was known for her deep passion for her yard and gardens. At Eielson Air Force Base she would win yard of the month every summer and for several years, yard of the year.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Knight.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell Stacy Clark; five children, Shelly Comried, Ryan Comried, Justin Clark, Wendie Clark and Daniel Clark; three grandchildren, Nicholas Menicacci, Austin Clark and Kaytee Comried; her parents of Clovis; two brothers, Scott Knight and Arnold Knight; and two sisters, Pam Franco and Judy Branham.

Arrangements were by Fairbanks Funeral Home of Fairbanks, Alaska.
