The Seniors meet every Thursday in the Senior Center from 5-9 p.m. to play games. All seniors in the area are invited to come down and play.
Around Town
Josh Rector and his sister Lauren are doing great after their surgeries last month. Lauren donated one of her kidneys to her younger brother. Their grandmother, Rose, says that many prayers have been heard and answered.
Jennifer Terry, daughter of Leland and Cindy Terry, married Steven Cain last Friday afternoon at the home of Gerry and Mary Washburn in Ft. Sumner. The bride arrived in a carriage and the groom on horseback.
Morrow Enterprises won the bid on the Floyd Water Project. That should be started very soon.
Swimming Lessons
The Floyd session for swimming lessons at the Portales City Pool will be July 26th through August 6th. The cost is $25 per person. I’ll have more information as it becomes available.
