The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. (CDT) on Sept. 25, 2004, at the Westview Christian Church in Amarillo.

The reception will be at the Party Barn in Amarillo.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Randall High School in Amarillo.

She is employed by Ruby Tequila’s and is a student at West Texas A&M University.

The prospective groom is a 1997 graduate of Clovis High School.

He is employed at United Supermarket in Amarillo.

Baker-Langley

Ron and Joyce Baker of Clovis announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Melinda Jenee’ Baker of Clovis, to Samuel Curtis Langley of Texarkana, Ark., son of Larry and Elaine Langley of Malvern, Ark.

The couple will exchange vows at 8 p.m. on July 16, 2004, in a garden ceremony at the bride’s grandmother’s home at 3500 W. 21st St. in Clovis.

The bride is a sophomore at Clovis Community College.

She is employed at Clovis Community College in the registrar’s office.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Arkansas Senior High School.

He is stationed at Cannon Air Force Base.

Chisum-Hatley

Mike and Debby Chisum of Clovis, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Mandy Jo Chisum of Clovis, to Wesley Alexander Hatley of Clovis, son of Randie and Pam Hatley of Clovis.

She is a nursing student at West Texas A&M University.

Tate

Travis and Laura Tate of Clovis will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary from 2 - 5 p.m. on June 26, 2004, in the Ingram Room at Clovis Carver Library.

The celebration will be hosted by their daughter, Linda Tate Rickstrew and granddaughter, Ashley Pyle.

The couple was married on June 26, 1944, in Canton, Texas.

They have one child; and one grandchild.

She is an educator.

Irwin

Henry and Lotus Irwin of Clovis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 - 4 p.m. on June 27, 2004, at the Central Baptist Church in Clovis.

The celebration will be hosted by their children, Kenneth and Janice Kinnaman and Jimmy and Miran Irwin; grandchildren, Kristina Kinnaman, Michael and Kendra Colwell and Patrick Irwin; and great-grandchildren, J.J. Vila, Baily Colwell, Christopher Vila and Michael Colwell III.

The couple was married on June 27, 1954, in Clovis.

They have two children; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He is a rental property manager for Stovall Rentals.

She is a bookkeeper for Stovall Rentals.
