Kathleen P. Jacobs, 65, of Clovis/Ranchvale, died Monday, May 3, 2004, at her home.
She was born on March 11, 1939, in Clovis, to U.L. and Mary M. Taborek Elliott.
She married Alvis P. Jacobs on April 26, 1958, in Clovis. She attended Sacred Heart School from first grade through 12th grade. She was a homemaker, a Brownie/Girl Scout Leader, a very active parish worker, a registered foster parent for handicapped children, a teachers aid/assistant for handicapped children and a creative quilt maker for all.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gerard Jacobs; two sisters, MaryLee Elliott Bell and Jeannie Elliott; and a brother, Roger Elliott.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Patricia Burnham (and husband, Joe) of Peralta, Theresa Jacobs-O’Connor (Tim) of Atlanta, Rosemarie Davis (Jim) of Belen and Lorraine Bragg (Dennis) of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Jessica Miles, Angela and Laura Burnham, Rory and Brian O’Connor, Christopher and Joseph Davis; a sister, Marcy Kos of Clovis; a brother, Richard Elliott of Houston, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Father Carlos Chavez will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
Pallbearers are Ron, Mike, Mark, Karl and Bryan Kos, Rick and Jim Elliott and Mike Burns.
