Mrs. Sylvia Ann Kilpatrick Colliflower, 67, of Clovis, a housewife, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at her home.

She was born on December 28, 1936, in Charlotte, N.C., to Harry and Isabel Rogers Kilpatrick.

While growing up she lived in several locations in North Carolina and South Carolina. She attended high school in Raleigh, N.C., and Bishopville, S.C., and always considered these as her dual hometowns. On March 16, 1957, she married Lawrence H. (Larry) Colliflower in Bishopville, S.C. As the wife of a college student she lived in Terre Haute, Ind., and Champaign-Urbana, Ill. After her husband graduated they moved to Waco, Texas, where he was employed. Following his recall to active duty in the United States Air Force she lived in Tampa, Fla., Robinson, Ill., Homestead, Fla., and Clovis. She had resided in Clovis since November 1969. Sylvia was a loving wife, mother, Nana, and dedicated homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Alex Blocker of Lubbock, Connie and Mark Harrison of Clovis and Stacey and Jimmy Davis of Hobbs; a sister, Gail Kilpatrick of Decatur, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Justin and Kyndra Sullivan, Chance and Jorde Pettigrew, and Marissa, Stratton and Dawson Davis.

Burial will be Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Robinson, Ill., with arrangements by Pulliam Funeral Home.

The Rev. Frank Sherman will officiate the services.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
