Janice Ann Ivy, 54, died Sunday, April 11, 2004, at BSA Hospice in Amarillo, Texas.

She was born Sept. 19, 1949, in Clovis, to Ulric and Cora Henson. She graduated from Clovis High School in 1968. She and her family moved to Flagg in 1976, then moved to Dimmit in 1982. She was a homemaker and a caregiver.

She married Ronald K. Ivy on Feb. 25, 1977, in Friona.

Survivors include her husband of Dimmitt; three daughters, Charlotte Thomas of Amarillo, Trisha Fitzgerald (and husband Curt) of Gruver, Texas, and Melissa Ivy of Omaha, Neb.; two sons, Rick Zimmer (Kim) of Amarillo and Jonathon Ivy (Kristin) of Odessa, Texas; her parents, Ulric and Cora Henson of Clovis; a brother, Stephen Henson of Clovis; a sister, Wessie King (Dwight) of Lubbock; and 10 grandchildren, Curtis Thomas, Sara Acevedo, Marshalla Padgett, Andrew Zimmer, Zackary Zimmer, Rylee Zimmer, Laci Fitzgerald, Blake Fitzgerald, Matthew Trigo and Hunter Ivy.

The Rev. Scott Curry of First Baptist Church in Gruver will officiate at the service.
