America Rose Avila Parra of Lubbock died on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at the University Medical Hospital in Lubbock.
She was born on Jan. 1, 2004 in Lubbock to Marcelino Avila and Angelica Parra.
She was born three months premature.
Survivors include her parents; grandfather and grandmother, Ignacio Parra and Cruz Parra, both of Portales; two aunts, Norma Parra of Kansas City, Kan., and Silivia Martha (and husband, Roy) of Levelland, Texas; and several uncles, including Tony Parra of Portales; Rodney Avila, Gabriel Avila and Bobby Joe Avila, all of Midland, Texas; Demitre Avila of Nashville, Tenn.; Victor Avila of Arlington, Texas, and Johnny Avila.
Arrangements were by Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock.
