JoAnn Janos, 67, of Truth or Consequences died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at her home.

She was born on April 25, 1936, in Clovis to J.A. and Elizabeth Morrow.

She was a retired escrow company office manager and a member of the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Baker.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald S. Janos of Truth or Consequences; two sons, Stephen R. Janos (and wife, Trish) of Truth or Consequences and David W. Janos (Maureen) of Las Cruces; two daughters, Kathy M. Chapman (John) and Stacey E. Schraner, all of Truth or Consequences; six grandchildren, Brent and Trent Janos, Jessica and JoAnna Chapman and Kathy and Jennifer Schraner; two sisters, Dorothy Baldock (Walter) and Stella Walker (Herschel), all of Clovis; a brother, Bud Morrow (Judy) of Sheridan, Wyo.; and a brother-in-law, Ray Baker (Polly) of Clovis.

Cremation will take place.

The Rev. Jack Cain will officiate.

Arrangements are by French Mortuary and Cremation Services Inc. of Truth or Consequences.
