Eulan Anson “Tony” Parham, 89, of Lazbuddie, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Friona.

He was born March 25, 1914, in Comanche County, Texas. He married Minnie Mayfield on Dec. 26, 1935, in Anson, Texas. She preceded him in death in 2001. He moved to the Lazbuddie community in 1943 from Jones County, Texas. He was active in the community for many years, and served on the Parmer County Appraisal Board, the Lazbuddie School Board and the Parmer County ASCS Board. Family members said he was a farmer, loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by an infant son in 1941 and a grandson, Seth Parham, in 1985.

Survivors incloude a son, Terry Parham of Lazbuddie; a daughter, Sharon Agee of Muleshoe; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.

The Rev. Jeff McCreight of Lubbock will officiate at the service.
