Carmelita Sandoval of Clovis celebrated her 97th birthday on Feb. 10, 2004.
The celebration was hosted by her children, Virginia (and husband, Manuel) Quintana of Clovis, Rita Romero (Levy) of Albuquerque, Pauline Nino (Benny) of Amarillo, Carmen Rael (Severo) of Clovis, Manuel Sandoval (Tina) of Albuquerque and Trennie Lucero and Lorrie Sandoval, both of Clovis.
She was born on Feb. 10, 1907, in Anton Chico.
She has seven children; 50 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
