Josefita “FeFa” Griego, 83, of Clovis died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at her home.
She was born Feb. 20, 1920, in Albuquerque to Margarito Estella Gallegos.
She came to Clovis in 1932 and married Pedro Griego on Aug. 3, 1936, in Clovis. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Community.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Margarito Griego; a daughter, Frances Griego; a grandson, Anthony Lujan; a granddaughter, Emilia Griego; a daughter-in-law, Ernestina Griego; three brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Lydia Ullibarri of Clovis; seven sons, Ciprians Griego of Ruidoso, Nick Griego, Secundino Griego, Daniel Griego, J.T. Griego, Andrew Griego, and Gabriel Tapia, all of Clovis; a sister, Erlinda Chavez of Clovis; a brother, Vincent Gallegos of Clovis; 42 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 31 great-great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Rev. Sotero Sena will officiate services.
Pallbearers will be Jesus Griego, Martin Griego, Benjamin Griego, Rueben Ullibarri, Daniel Tapia, and Santiago Griego.
Arrangements are provided by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
