LaVon Kotzen, 72, a resident of Albuquerque since 1965, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004.

The daughter of Robert and Dorothy Thomas, she was a 1949 graduate of Clovis High School.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim Kotzen (and husband Joseph) of Albuquerque; a granddaughter, Shelby Clayton (Daniel) of Albuquerque; two grandsons, Samuel Anderson and Thomas DeMoss, both of Albuquerque; and three great-grandchildren, Alexis Clayburn, Jimmy Clayburn and Emily Clayburn, all of Albuquerque.

Burial was in Clovis.
