Holiday Closings

The following city of Clovis offices will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday: City Hall, Public Works, Parks, Clovis Area Transit Service, Friendship Senior Center, Baxter-Curran Senior Center, the Alice Converse meal site, and Clovis-Carver Public Library. The library also will be closed Saturday.

The city will pick up commercial and polycart trash on Friday. The city landfill will be closed at 3 p.m. today. It will remain closed all day Thursday, but will be open Friday.

Hillcrest Park Zoo will be closed Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

All offices of the Ninth Judicial District Court will be closed Thursday and Friday, as will all county offices.

Area banks will be closed Thursday.

Although the Clovis News-Journal offices will be closed Thursday, if readers miss their newspaper, circulation customer service hours will be from 7 to 10 a.m., reachable by calling 763-7350.
