Roy Foote, 83, of Tucumcari, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, in Amarillo.

He was born on Dec. 3, 1919, in Orlando, Okla.

He was an active farmer and rancher in the Tucumcari area for many years.

Survivors include daughters, Sharon Slater of Clovis, Donna Brasher of Amarillo, and Mary Foote of Tucumcari; sons Carl Foote of Tucumcari, and Donald Foote of Santa Rosa; brothers, Rex Foote of Tucumcari, and Dean Foote of Bakersfield, Calif.; sisters Doris Bugg of Raton, Dorothy Williams of Perry, Okla., and Clara Wiseman of Morrison, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Bill Bowman will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Tucumcari Memorial Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
