Mrs. Oleta Self, 91, of Clovis, a housewife, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

She was born on Jan. 1, 1912, in Spur, Texas.

She married A.R. “Reg” Self on Feb. 1, 1930, in Spur, Texas. They moved to Post, Texas, then to Lubbock for several years and then to Clovis in 1943. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church and the Altrusa Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers; and sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Doug Self (and wife, Rebecca) of Carbondale, Colo., and Dudley Self (Jody) of Clovis; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Bethany, David, Stuart, MaDawn, Jonathan and Jennifer; and two great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Joel Horne will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell.
