Here are recent dispositions recorded from June 11 to Aug. 5 in 9th Judicial District Court:
• Victor Sotello, 21, pleaded guilty to attempted accessory to making a false affidavit and perjury, a misdemeanor. Sentenced to 364 days imprisonment with credit for one day served. Sentence suspended and placed on 364 days supervised probation with special conditions of victim restitution and probation costs.
• George Foster pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence, both fourth degree felonies. Sentenced to two concurrent terms of 18 months in state prison with credit for 40 days served and one year parole release authorized.
• Jose Guadalupe Medina, 29, pleaded guilty to aggravated battery on a household member, a misdemeanor, and assault on a household member, a petty misdemeanor. Sentenced to concurrent terms totaling 364 days with credit for five days served. Sentence suspended and placed on 364 days supervised probation with special conditions of attending anger management counseling and paying victim restitution.
• Manuel Garcia Jr., 20, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, a fourth degree felony. Sentencing deferred 18 months with credit authorized for one day served and placed on 18 months supervised probation with special conditions of drug and alcohol counseling, $75 lab analysis fee, and $100 DNA fee.
• Manuel Duran, 30, pleaded guilty to forgery, a third degree felony. Determined to be a habitual offender and sentenced to four years imprisonment with credit for 53 days served, all but one year suspended, to be served in state prison. Placed on three years post-release supervised probation with special conditions of $100 DNA testing fee and victim restitution, two years of which to be on parole status.
• Michael J. Genova, 18, pleaded guilty to battery against a household member, a misdemeanor. Sentenced to 364 days imprisonment with credit for three days served. Sentence suspended and placed on 364 days supervised probation with special conditions of attending anger management classes and paying victim restitution.
• Lorenzo A. Cabral, 26, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated, fourth offense. Sentenced to 18 months imprisonment with credit for 135 days served, all but six suspended, to be served in county jail with no good time authorized, $890 fine, court costs and fees, and alcohol abuse screening. Placed on 12 months post-release supervised probation with special conditions of attending a MADD victim impact panel, installing an ignition interlock, $100 DNA testing fee, $20 monthly probation fee and victim restitution.
