Wildcats lose late

AMARILLO — Amarllio rallied for six runs in its last two at-bats and beat the Clovis Wildcats 12-10 Tuesday in a 10-inning West Texas Baseball League contest.

The teams teams agreed to play 10 innings regardless of the score.

Jared Montoya collected three hits for the Wildcats while Richard Urban and Ryan Denton added two each.

Denton’s two-run double in the eighth inning gave Clovis an 8-6 lead.
