Shower: A baby shower for Cody Lane Rinne is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Baptist Church. He is the son of Michael and Tammy Rinne.

Social activity

An ice cream social is set for 6:30 p.m. June 6 at the Kenna Community Building. Participants are asked to bring a freezer of ice cream or a dessert. Domino games, a horseshoe toss and volleyball games are scheduled. For information, call Cody Bilberry at 274-6242.

Facelift

Want to improve the look of Elida? Community supporters will be painting the buildings around town white. The work begins at 8 a.m. June 7 at Town Hall. The paint and equipment will be furnished. Dekbert Bradly will be the overseer.
