Mrs. Mary Gwendolyn Sena, 45, of Amherst, Texas, died Saturday, April 27, 2003, at her home.

She was born on July 23, 1957, in Roswell, to Myron Eugene and Melbalene Ruth Benton Morris.

She graduated from Fort Sumner High School. She worked as a medical records clerk in a physician’s office before joining the Teeter Insurance Agency in Fort Sumner. Family members said she enjoyed reading the Bible, cooking, gardening, caring for her miniature donkeys and her cat.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two sons, Eugenio Sena of Lubbock and Christian Sena of Amherst; the children’s father, Edward D. Sena of Santa Rosa; three sisters, Myra Gail Morris of Lubbock, Margo Evrinidis of Apex, N.C.; Libbye Belgrade of Sterling, Va.; and one brother, Myron Lee Morris of Bullhead City, Ariz.

The Rev. Anna Teeter will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Fort Sumner Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Larry Roybal, Mariano Mares, Richard Gonzales, Simon Lucero, Lee Koll and Eleazar Lara.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church On The Hill Memorial Fund.

Arrangements are by Chavez Funeral Home of Fort Sumner.
