PORTALES — The Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds signed three football recruits on Wednesday, as part of the NCAA’s new early signing period. CLOVIS — Firefighters responded to a debris fire originating at 3008 Weston St. around noon on Wednesday. “We had a resident burning rubbish in the back of his yard, wind got a hold of it and it just got wild,” Fire Department Battalion Chief Joel Gershon said. “Ended up burning through a fence and into another neighbor’s yard.
